VIAIR GIVEAWAY! 400P-RV Air Compressor & Winterizing Kit

TheRVgeeks Great RV Products, Maintenance, Winter RVing 48 Comments

It’s no secret that we love well-designed RV gear, so we’re excited to announce that one of you will win a Viair 400P-RV air compressor and Viair’s new winterizing kit in our latest RVgeeks Giveaway!

You’ve heard us wax poetic about Viair before, but the huge number of 5-star ratings and reviews on Amazon make it clear that we’re not the only ones who think the 400P-RV is a must-have for every RVer. And their new winterizing kit combines the parts needed to connect your compressor to your RV to blow out the water lines all in one package.

Watch the short video above for complete details (and a few bloopers)! The giveaway ends on Sunday, 9/23/18 at 8 pm Eastern Time /  5 pm Pacific, so be sure to enter by then.

Below is the entry form for the giveaway, which is the same type we used last time. We hope you find it easy to use, and that you take advantage of the many extra ways it allows you to enter compared to the old system we used before.

About phone numbers… Our regular viewers know that we always provide the option of including your phone number with your entry. We only do that to ensure that we’re able to quickly contact the winner. We will NEVER share or use phone numbers for any other purpose. When the giveaway ends, being able to call the winner is a huge help (and we’d love to congratulate you personally, too)! When you get to the entry form, you’ll see that we even give you ten extra entries for including your phone number! smile

  1. Two of our RV friends have the Viair and love it. I have been looking at them because tires are my biggest worry! Thank you guys for making us all smarter RVers.

  2. Have already bought one, it is great thing to have. Have used for much more than the RV . Hoping to win to gift it to a friend. I have been watching your stuff for a few years. Between you and Gone with Wynns you have made our motor home trips much more enjoyable. Thanks.

  7. Love your videos, so helpful as we purchased an 01 Mountain Aire 4095 Sept. 19 last year. Haven’t been able to travel a lot yet as was injured in truck wreck 11 days after we bought it but did make it out to Roswell then down to Galveston for cruse in June and had valve stem leak on home trip. bought a “cheap” air compressor at walmart , took forever to air up tire. Hopefully we’ll be able to get out of Michigan before the snow flies and get back to the southwest. Keep the videos coming. Really helpful for us who love to do our own work. Thanks so much. Thank you so much for your kind comments, Donny & Karen. It’s always great to hear from fellow Newmar owners. So sorry to hear about your accident. We hope you are on the way to a complete recovery, and have lots of safe, fun RVing ahead.

Thank you so much, for the videos and the chance to enter the compressor giveaway.

  11. RVGeeks,

You videos are at the top of the list for information concerning the RV life. There are so many people that think using a phone to make the videos is adequate. Your production value is excellent. I have spent 35 years in the TV business and intend to retire soon into full time RV life. You videos are the place I go to for my quality information.

    Thanks for the good work,

    Tim

  12. Thank you cary much for giving us this opportunity. I have been following you for a while now and have yet to see a video that was not professional, filled with information and very easy to understand. My only issue is I wish I had the money to keep up with you. Thanks for all your videos and this chance to win a very nice Viair system.

  13. Hi from central BC. This is a fantastic giveaway and I congratulate you for offering it.

Just in case I do not win I checked out the link for the winterizing kit. Well, did you know that it shows “0” reviews? A promise: if I win I’ll send in a comment.

Thanks John! We did know that there aren’t any reviews yet, because the Winterizing Kit is brandy new! But we saw in person how solid it is, so we know the stars will follow as soon as people start buying them. 😊 Best of luck, with or without a review. 😂

  14. Oh, sure… now that I just bought one, you have a giveaway ;)

PS – if your next giveaway is for a solar and lithium package at AM Solar in Oregon, please let me know…

So sorry! LOL Will do on the AM Solar thing (but we think you’re safe to proceed). 😉 Although, judging from your screen name, a gift certificate to an RV driving school might be good for the next giveaway? 😂

  15. I really appreciate all the time you invest making the videos, and the professional way you make RV maintenance understandable for the DIY folks. Thanks and please keep them coming, I look forward to each one!

  17. I love your videos and learn a lot from them. I’m new to rving and needing to learn about winterizing as well as wanting a new air compressor, I was excited to see your RV giveaway. The only thing about the giveaway that bothered me is that I am not and do not plan to be a facebook member for my own personal reasons. Also, I did share the video with my sister because none of my friends have RV’s and nor does my sister. This seems like it puts me at what I think is a disadvantage for the giveaway. Please consider that many people do not want a facebook account for their own reasons and this should not be a requirement. In the meantime, keep your great videos coming!

Hi Marlene! Thanks for the nice words about our videos… we’re so glad they’ve been helpful. And we hear you (as we are not on Facebook ourselves), but being on/joining Facebook is NOT a “requirement” to enter (all you need is your name and email address). And you are not at a disadvantage in the contest since you also do not need to be a Facebook user to get the 10 extra points for visiting Viair’s Facebook page… just click the link to view their page and you’ll get the points. Finally… since you can use this air compressor on any vehicle, your friends don’t have to be RVers to enter, either. Hope this helps… and best of luck in the giveaway!

  18. Just purchased our 2003 Newmar Dutch Star in May. We have camped for 26 years with a travel trailer. Since we are newbies to a Diesel pusher. Which my husband always wanted! My husband has searched YouTube for information. Must say we have learned the most from you two! Helps having a similar motorchoach and the same color. 😀We love our Newmar too. Keep up the wonderful job! Hopefully someday we get to meet yous on the road! Safe travels!

  20. Almost forgot, can you post a how-to video on the proper inflation of RV tires? Do you inflate to the numbers on the sidewall or inflate to the numbers on the RV sticker?

    1. Post
      Author

Actually, neither number is correct. The proper pressure in each tire depends on the weight it’s carrying, and the manufacturer’s inflation table for that particular tire. Of course that means having your rig weighed first, which is very important (corner weights, not the whole thing, so a visit to a truck stop scale won’t help). We’re planning a video all about this… but it’s not ready yet. In the meantime, both the FMCA and RVSEF offer weighing services, often at rallies, or by appointment. Check out our Resources page for info on them.
