When parked in one place for a long period of time, it’s important to exercise your RV to keep the engine and other equipment in good working order.
When we’re not on the road, we try to take our rig out at least every month or so. We take the opportunity to check the operation of as many things as possible, as well as filling up with propane and topping up the fuel tank to prevent moisture.
Some of the items we cover are specific to diesels, but many things are relevant to all motorhomes, whether diesel or gas. As the engine and transmission are the most expensive pieces of equipment on any motorhome, it’s well worth the time and effort to care for them as thoroughly as possible.
