Picking Up Our Campervan. We’re On the Road in OZ!

Picking Up Our Campervan. We’re On the Road in OZ!

Sorry it’s taken us a little time to get our first campervan video up, but here it is! We’ve been in a whirlwind of exploring, driving and videoing the whole way, and didn’t want to miss anything by taking time out to edit footage!

We have a ton to share and lots more to do, so stay tuned. We’re only just getting started!

To keep up with our entire Australian Campervan Adventure, details, information and resources about where we’re going and what we’re doing, check out the new page specifically dedicated to our trip. We’ll continue to add videos, resources and links as we go. The page is live with up-to-date details here:

TheRVgeeks.com/Australia

We’ll be adding to the page frequently as our trip unfolds, showcasing beautiful destinations and experiences, the details of operating our campervan, places to stay, and the welcoming people of Oz.

Thanks so much to Maui Rentals for the fantastic campervan & service. Rent your own Maui rig for a fantastic RV trip down under!

Hahaha! Amusing video! What I'm finding amazing here is that every building you're in and person you talk with, tells me that they are us. Things are very much like here in the USA. Have you guys teased anyone with saying "How come we're not upside down?"

People are really wonderful here, so we've tried hard not to tease. LOL One thing that IS upside down are the light switches. Down is ON and up is OFF as the universal standard. Takes more getting used to than driving on the left. ?

You are on the road in Australia! Way to go.

I heard the taxi driver giving you some tips on the round-a-bouts. Did you take her advice?

Between Nikki & Jason's lobster lessons and your 'it feels weird' driving this has been a great couple of days for us subscribers.

Thumbs up.

Thanks John. We did indeed take her advice and have learned a lot more since then. We have a meeting planned with a local driving instructor this weekend, and plan to interview him about exactly these sorts of things. So stay tuned for some Oz driving tips!
