I thought that looked like Mt. Baker in the background. You must be a filmed around Chilliwack somewhere? Funny video! “We left the sled dogs idling” LOL!
You’re actually really close, Craig! That mountain in the background is Mt. Cheam… and we filmed that “skit” in Agassiz!
so very nice to hear what channel you will be on. I checked my dish and could not find you. now it will be next fall and on the discovery channel. just let us know when
it gets closer thanks guys
Will do, Pius! The Discovery Channel will have a more-defined schedule than PBS (affiliate stations set their own broadcast schedules, so even though the show will be made available to them as of a certain date, each PBS station will decide if/when to air it)… although we’re hoping PBS will make the show available via their streaming apps on devices/services like Roku and AppleTV. We’ll now more as we get closer.
Thrilled for all of you. Well deserved! Congrats Jamie
Aw, thanks Jamie! We appreciate it!
Man….you guys gonna serve up some eggs with that ham? ;-) Seriously, really great news about Discovery and I’m glad you avoided snow. I’ll be looking for some of that professional drone footage too. That worked great in your rear end tracking segment to really demonstrate where the wheels were.
I sure hope you still have time for the little people now that you’ll be internationally known stars!!!
LOL! Sure… full breakfast available with this “campy” announcement! ? Couldn’t resist having a little fun with this one… and figured even a badly-acted bit would be more entertaining than us just staring at the camera! Maybe we were wrong? ??
Definitely more drone footage coming… including really awesome, cinematic footage from Tom Morton, who’s a wizard flying them (been doing it since before they were “a thing”!).
And trust us… we have no aspirations for getting swelled heads. Internationally OR domestically! LOL! (plus, we fully expect our friends and viewers here and on YouTube will be more than willing to keep us well grounded! ?)
Good for all of you folks! can’t wait..:)
Thanks, Jen! Neither can we! ?
This was a fun way to tell us some great news. Now looking forward to watching some TV this fall.
I hope that you will be allowed to send out an email reminder when new episodes are coming out.
BTW, you picked a great spot for filming with the hills in the background. And what a perfect day as well. (Last two times I was in that parking lot was on game days and it very busy.)
Thanks, John! And, of course, we’ll keep you in the loop as we have more info on dates, etc! Oh… and we lucked out with the parking lot being empty, so we could frame up our shot to make it look more “arctic” with the mountains as backdrop (amazing how you can zoom in and make them look closer than they are, isn’t it?!?!).
Hooray! More options to watch from our Fulltimers RV! Can’t wait!! (And who knew you would be comedians?!?!?!)?
LOL! We love offering options (take your pick from PBS, Discovery, Amazon Video, iTunes, Google Play or Microsoft… we’re EVERYWHERE! ?). And good to know OTHERS think we have a sense of humor and that it’s not just us! LOL!
YEAAAHH!!! When the camera panned out, it almost appeared that you were in our area of Gardnerville NV. Can hardly wait for the RVers new show.
Close, but not quite, Roger! That lovely mountain is in the Fraser Valley in BC! But we love being around mountains, regardless of where they are (as long as it’s not ACTUALLY snowing on us while near them, LOL!). Stay tuned for more info about the show… we’ll be sure to post when we have specifics available.
Great news. But the fake snow? Really. Enjoyed the out-takes…
Congrats. You guys have earned it!
I see a new rig in your not too distant future. If so, can I have your “old” house battery pack? And will you sign it first, please?
Looking forward to your new show.
Hi Mike! At least the snow on the mountain was real! Our favorite part of this, coming on the heels of our green screen video last week, was that people probably assumed it was a green screen. Not! ? But we’ll of course cop to the fake snow…. anything to avoid being in it for real. No new rig on the way…. yet. But we suspect when the time comes, that battery will go with the RV! Thanks again. Can’t wait for the show to air.
Well that was awesome you guys , laughed a lot. Congratulations
Aw, thanks, Pat! Glad you enjoyed it! ? We had fun filming & editing it!
It is a shame Nikki and Jason Wynn changed from RVing to sailing. They would have been great to participate along with you all in this series. Looking forward to it. Also, thank you for your recent What’s That Smell video. Last month we experienced that very same thing. I changed the air admittance valve and no more smell !!!
Maybe we’ll meet up with Nikki & Jason somewhere so they can join us for a guest appearance! Great to hear we helped you solve that air admittance valve issue, Bob. Thanks for letting us know! ?
Fantastic news! Congratulations to all! Can’t wait to see the show.
Thanks so much, Sue!
