The RVers Premiere Watch Party & RV Entrepreneur Meetup

TheRVgeeks The RVers TV 18 Comments

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added an additional personal appearance in conjunction with our new TV show, The RVers! This one will be a Watch Party for the premiere of the show on November 17, 2019. This is a particularly special event, as it’s not only a party to view the launch of our new TV show, but also a meet-up of the RV Entrepreneur group, run by our dear friends Heath & Alyssa Padgett. We’ll also be joining our fellow co-hosts Cherie & Chris of Technomadia.

You probably already know that we’re currently traveling in Italy with Heath & Alyssa for the entire month of October, and we’re thrilled to be meeting up with them again so soon. If you’d like to join us in person to watch the premiere of The RVers, here are the details:

EVENT DATE:
Meet-Up Runs Friday, Nov 15 at 4 PM – Sunday, Nov 17 at 1 PM CST

EVENT LOCATION:
Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort
10618 E US Highway 290
Fredericksburg, Texas 78624
Phone: 830-990-2267

SHOW TIME:
The show premiers on The Discovery Channel at 8 AM Eastern, which is 7 AM Central/Texas time. So we’ll be up and in the clubhouse early, before 7 AM!

MORE DETAILS:
From the RV Entrepreneur Facebook Group (which we highly recommend for anyone working from the road!):
“We’re hosting an all weekend long meetup at one of our favorite RV parks! Join us for a casual weekend of campfires, hiking, and at least a few wine tastings at the local vineyards. Meetup is open to anyone and everyone who would like to come (no RV required, as there is tent camping as well as cabins available!). If you’re in Texas this fall, would love to see you there! We have a discounted rate on RV sites for the weekend so when you call and book your site, mention you’re with Heath Padgett & The RV Entrepreneur 😊”

Even though our RV will be out west, we’re thrilled to be flying in for this event, and staying on site in one of their cabins or park models. Not only will we get to see Heath & Alyssa again (a month is not enough!), but we’ll look forward to spending time with any of you who can make it. There will also be a special surprise guest joining us, and of course the final big event of the weekend will be a Sunday morning screening of The RVers premiere on The Discovery Channel, shown on the TV in the clubhouse.

If you haven’t already heard, we’ll also be making personal appearances at the following rallies:

We’ll look forward to meeting you in person at one of these great events. Hope you can make it!

Safe Travels,
Peter & John

  1. Hi Mark here, I looked at my Direct TV schedule for RVers for Sun the 29th at 5am as I’m in Ca. I’ve recorded 3 times before. I’m unable to find it in the schedule. 5am slot is about Florida not RVers.
    Hope you can help.

Hi Mark. Thanks so much for making the effort to watch the show! Unfortunately… you’re 1 week too late! Last Sunday (12/22) was the 6th and last episode of this airing of Season 1 on Discovery! But… don’t despair… there are options! If you’re OK with parting with some money to buy it (and we totally get it if you’d rather not), you can get the whole season on several of the online streaming platforms:

If those don’t work for you, the show is SUPPOSED to be available on Amazon Prime Video, but there was a glitch with the digital distributor and it STILL isn’t available there yet. As we understand it, if you subscribe to Amazon Prime, it SHOULD be available for free… once it’s available.

Starting in January, 2020, the show is being released to PBS. Because they are all local affiliates, they only BEGIN to incorporate the show into their programming schedule then. So you’d have to check your local listings for your PBS station starting sometime mid-January.

Lastly… Discovery will be re-airing Season 1 of the show starting in April… as a run-up to the release of Season 2 in May (in subsequent years, the new seasons of the show are slated to release in May to be better timed with the start of the RVing season).

So… them’s your choices. Hope this helps!

      1. we knew we couldn’t bring our RV this weekend so we thought about just driving down Sunday for the premiere. but we have decided to brave the cold and stay in a tent. We will be arriving Friday and staying until Sunday. Can’t wait to meet up with you all. Jim and Lisa

          1. that ether makes us braver or you smarter. I tend to lean towards the second explanation

  2. We are very excited to check this show out. Since we are in the area, we made reservations for the meetup, I hope that is ok!
