Is your RV’s bed jammed into a corner or other tight spot in your RV, making it hard (if not almost IMPOSSIBLE) to change the sheets? Do you find yourself stuggling to get the fitted sheet in place? Well, you’re in luck, because there’s a great product available to help make this job MUCH easier: QuickZip sheets – an RV bedding solution that can be helpful for just about every RVer.
QuickZip Sheets make sure that odd-sized RV mattresses stay snugly covered all night long, while also providing a solution for making RV beds that are difficult to maneuver around without Cirque du Soleil-level gymnastic abilities. Let’s take a look at QuickZip zippered, hassle-free, dream-worthy bedding that will permanently fix the issue of using a fitted sheet on your difficult-to-access RV (or home!) mattress… while providing a comfortable top piece that you can easily remove for laundering.
What Are QuickZip Sheets?
QuickZip Sheets are designed as a two-part system — the base and a zip-on sheet top. The base fits securely around the mattress like a fitted sheet and remains in place, while the top zip-on sheet attaches to the base with a durable zipper, allowing it to be easily removed WITHOUT having to remove the base.

With the QuickZip system, the fitted base remains in place, while the top sheet zips on and off for easy changing. (Source of photos: QuickZip)
The zip-off top makes it incredibly easy to remove, wash, and remake the bed with the sheet you sleep on. It also secures the fitted base sheet tightly to your bed, no matter what size mattress you have (since they come in RV sizes, too). Anyone who’s ever owned an RV knows what a challenge that can be since RV mattresses are, more often than not, different than standard household sizes.
Another important benefit of QuickZip sheets is that there’s no need to try and lift the mattress to secure the fitted sheet while you’re kneeling on it to reach a far corner. This would’ve been SUPER handy in the Black Series HQ19, which we spent a month on, because the bed in that rig (like so many other RVs) was hard to reach.
The placement of the bed in so many RVs requires crawling across the bed to access the top corners, and the HQ19 was no different. Getting a fitted sheet onto that mattress wasn’t fun, although the contortions needed to make it happen were probably funny to watch (and, no… we didn’t video that, LOL!).

We lovd the versatile use of space that the wall bed in our Creekside 19MKS offers… but it does make changing the sheets a bit more difficult.
And now, in our new Outdoors RV Creekside 19MKS (with the awesome “wall bed” that deploys over the dinette), we love having QuickZip sheets to make the chore of removing/replacing our bed linens so much easier. And with a set of percale sheets for summer and (SUPER soft and warm) flannels for winter, we’re covered year-round!
With a QuickZip sheet set, there’s no more struggling to tuck the sheets under the mattress corners or to deal with loose, wrinkled fabric. They make removing the lines for laundry day a breeze… just unzip the top sheet and zip on a clean one (or wash and remake the bed with the current one) while the fitted base remains snugly in place. You may still have to crawl around a little bit to access the zipper in the remote corners, but there’s no more need to lift or fight with the mattress.
Here’s how the QuickZip Zip-On Fitted Sheet System works for us on our Outdoors RV:
And check out QuickZip’s own demonstration video:
Imagine how easy this makes laundry day. Or (as we saw in one quick zip sheet review), if you’ve got a baby and need a quick middle-of-the-night sheet change, simply zip off the soiled crib sheet, zip on a new one quickly, and you’re done.
What Sizes Do QuickZip Sheets Come In?
QuickZip Sheets come in all standard US sizes from California king down to crib-sized, plus RV sizes, flex top, and split king sizes. The generous size options and easy view labeling make it easy to know which sheets go with which beds if you’ve got multiple sizes of QuickZip sheets.

What Are QuickZip Sheets Made Of?
QuickZip Sheets are made from high-quality materials with sturdy reinforced zippers. They’re made to withstand repeated washings and maintain their shape, feel, and integrity over time. You can choose from 400-thread-count cotton (in either Sateen or Percale finishes)… as well as luxurious & warm flannel (our favorite for staying warm during cold-weather boondocking trips)… and they come in a variety of colors and patterns.
QuickZip also offers matching flat sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers (that zip open on two sides for easy changing and that clip in place to stop any shifting/bunching). And, as a special bonus, new customers can use the discount code listed below to save $40US on any order over $200US! Click the following link for more information, including pricing:

Hello Peter and John,
I have a 19MKS on order. Did you order the regular queen (80x60) or RV queen (75x60) size?
Always value the RV learning experience from you guys!
Thanks!

My wife shortens the sheets and mattress pads for our short queen. She also sews the bottom cormers of the top sheet. You can also just tie a knot on the bottom corners of the top sheet.

Interesting….What do you do about a top sheet?

You can use an existing, standard flat top sheet or order a matching flat top sheet from QuickZip (they also sell bundles).
