7 Best Heated Camping Chairs For Cool Weather RVing

7 Best Heated Camping Chairs For Cool Weather RVing

With mornings and evenings turning colder as summer turns to fall, we thought this might be a good time to take a look at a cool neat product – the heated camping chair!

Heated camping chairs are fantastic for fall and winter camping because, no matter the weather, they allow you to enjoy the outdoors and stay warm and comfortable at the same time.

While we’re typically snowbirds (RVers who follow warmer weather), we’ve done our share of cold-weather camping. For example, we could have used a couple of heated camping chairs in Zion National Park, as you can see in the video below.

What Is a Heated Camping Chair?

Heated camping chairs actually come in a variety of models. Most are battery heated and use heat elements or coils in the seat and back.

Many battery-powered chairs operate using a small, portable rechargeable battery which means that you could carry more than one battery power pack to keep your chair warm for hours and hours.

Many heated camping chairs have variable temperature settings from warm to high heat, with various settings in between.

Heated chairs are great for camping, of course, but they’re also great for sporting events, tailgate parties, and really any activity that might find you sitting outside in cool weather.

You could even use a heated camping chair inside your RV for winter RV living!

It seems way more logical to purchase a heated throw blanket.

@David, Yes, except with the chair you are in direct contact to the heat source and also heat rises. Of course, you can always sit ON the heated blanket in the chair for multipurpose use of the blanket. And you could also sit in the heated chair and cover with a regular blanket or a heated blanket. So many choices.
